Yet another thing I miss while working...

Tea Parties!!

My girls are having a tea party at day care today…
It’s spring break so they’re having fun activities all week. Yesterday it was Movie Theater Day; today it’s a Tea Party…

They were told to dress up for the occasion…Lani picked out her own princess dress of course. And Kenna chose to wear something out of my closet… yes- those are my boots and my pink dress. (Don’t even get me started on the topic of how the heck my 10 year old can fit into my stuff already- or how she has her own sense of style already- or how she’s as tall as me already)

I just get so bummed sometimes when I consider how much fun stuff Im missing with them! But I wont focus on what Im missing, rather, use this energy as motivation to keep working hard toward the day when I can finally be home with the girls full time!

Work Smart Career Conference, San Diego

More Mary Kay talk...

Michael and I attended my annual Career Conference this weekend in San Diego.

All I can say is....Ah-Ma-Zing!

This was Michael's first major Mary Kay event...

Our Unit, The Bishop's Beautiful Believers had reserved seating....

And Carolyn treated us to gift bags...

Our Unit ranked 4th out of all the units who attended the San Diego Conference!

Parade Of Nationals- 3/26/09

You may have heard me mention Mary Kay once or twice...
(that's a little joke- we all know I talk about Mary Kay 24/7)

But I'm just so excited! Last Thursday I attended the Parade of Nationals, event in San Diego. 5 Mary Kay National Sales Directors (these ladies are the the best of the best) spent time with us... what other company does that?!

I took a bunch of pictures with my cell camera, but of course.. they came out like crap. So this is all I had to post...

When Jared, Michael and I got home from the Sherman's going away party- we were messing around in the normal ridiculous way that we always do, and MJ spit gum in my hair. Yes. GUM.

Shelly and I had lunch today at the Faraday food court... June bug joined us as served as our entertainment and comedic relief. He is at such a fun age right now!
It was a gorgeous day to be outside catching up with my sissy, and spending time with my little handsome man!
